A wonderful, easy to care for indoor plant with pretty flowers and amazing scent capabilities. The Victorians used to place these along their walkways so they could enjoy their perfumes as their long skirts brushed past them. The richly scented leaves can be used to flavour ice creams.
Needs a sunny, well ventilated position. Can be brought outside in the summer but must come back inside for the winter. Keep in a sunny position, tidy up as necessary and remove flower heads when they have finished.
Single herb plant in a 15cm Italian terracotta pot, with a matching saucer. Planted in a peat-free compost mix with added vermiculite for extra drainage.
