This herb has the most wonderful lemon sherbet leaves. Use the deliciously scented leaves throughout summer for a lovely bedtime tea, or make into ice creams. It retains its flavour well if dried, an ideal herb for insect repellent sachets.
Grow in a sunny sheltered position, this herb likes a little humidity. Prune in May and October to promote fresh growth. Bring it inside in winter, the plant is deciduous so will drop its leaves during the winter months, but don't worry, come spring they will be back!
Single herb plant in a 15cm Italian terracotta pot, with a matching saucer. Planted in a peat-reduced compost mix with added perlite for extra drainage.
