Lemon Bon-Bon Planter
Containing Lemon Thyme & Lemon Balm
Thymus citriodorus aureus & Melissa officinalis
The mouth-watering lemony smelling leaves are great in chicken stuffings or to make a simple sugar syrup with the leaves for a special cocktail ingredient! A tea made from the leaves and flowers mixed with a spoonful of honey helps to relieve cold symptoms.
With the Lemon Balm got yourself a super happy herb, evoking childhood memories of warm summer days and sherbet lemons! Use as a relaxing tea to soothe headaches and lift the spirits. Goes well chopped into a summery drink too.
Grow in a sunny position. Trim the thyme after flowering and in Autumn. Trim the Lemon Balm back regularly to maintain compact shape.
Herb plants in a 23cm, half tall, Italian terracotta pot with matching saucer. Planted in a peat-free compost mix with added vermiculite for extra drainage.
