Goes very well freshly chopped in a salad, a cocktail or jug of Pimms.
Grow in full sun, with some midday shade. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Trim back regularly to maintain a compact shape.
All herbs are planted in a peat reduced compost mix with added perlite for extra drainage.
Choose whether you receive your herb planted up in an Italian terracotta pot, with a matching saucer - or if you already have a pot in mind, keep it in its nursery pot.

Harvest just before using, as the essential oils evaporate quickly. Small plants can be grown indoors otherwise best grown outside. Trim throughout the summer to keep bushy. Cut back hard after flowering when plant yellows in late summer.

Cooking - Pairs well with tarragon, fish, chicken, pork and creamy dishes. Drinks - Use the leaves to flavour cold water, make a cordial Tea - Infuse as a calming bedtime tea, the flavours work well as a base mixed with other herbs.
