Ajuga reptans

A native wild plant, which has intense blue flower spikes in early Summer. One of the old health herbs, formally used to staunch bleeding.

Grow in semi shade, keep soil moist but not waterlogged, split the plant occasionally to encourage fresh growth. 

Herb plants in a 31cm Italian terracotta trough. Planted in a peat-free compost mix with added vermiculite for extra drainage.
