Oreganum vulgare ‘Aureum’
Gorgeous golden leaved Marjoram with pretty white flowers to bring a little sunshine into your day! The fragrant leaves work well to give an extra punch to meat and vegetable dishes. Marjoram has a high thymol content, meaning its a great antiseptic. Use in teas to ease a bad cold and settle upset stomachs, chew a leaf if you have a toothache.
Grow in a sunny position with some shade at midday, prune back hard after flowering. Try and avoid wetting the leaves when you water.
All herbs are planted in a peat reduced compost mix with added perlite for extra drainage.
Choose whether you receive your herb planted up in an Italian terracotta pot, with a matching saucer - or if you already have a pot in mind, keep it in its nursery pot. (
