Salad Burnet is THE big surpriser, chew one of the modest-looking leaves and wow - a cucumber explosion! Great in salads, with beans and in summery drinks. Handily the leaves will keep growing throughout the winter. A good source of Vitamin C and a digestion aid.
Grow in sun or partial shade, can be kept indoors or outdoors. Keep the Salad Burnet well-trimmed to about 15cm and remove flowers to produce a regular supply of fresh leaves.
